Essential  Qualification: An MSc in Botany/Zoology/Environmental Sciences  /Ecology/Wildlife Sciences/Life Sciences as pertinent to the respective positions. 

Experience: 

1. Significant field research experience in ecology in Madhya Pradesh or Central India is essential for both positions. 

2. Ability for field taxonomy of butterflies / plants / birds  is required.   

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Remote Sensing and GIS 
  • Landscape ecological analyses Knowledge,
  • Biodiversity analyses, 
  • Above-ground carbon assessments, 
  • Bio-resource ecology 

Research Topic: 

(1) Plant Diversity and Ecosystem Services, and 

(2) Faunal Diversity (Butterflies, Birds, and Mammals) 

Job Duration: 12 Months & Renewable to 18 Months

Job Location: Research to be carried out in Betul, Hoshangabad, Sagar, Sehore, and Raisen Districts(Madhya Pradesh), which are located in the Satpura and Vindhyan Plateau regions and the Central Narmada Valley.

Salary :  Rs. 31,000/- + HRA at 8% per month
